Smoove to the new complex

The balloons made everyone pretty hyped up today from a sleepy bus ride from old school to Wisma.

Flooding 1 whole road lane with balloons and another lane with Hippo tourist 'SMU' buses, we trooped our way from Wisma to our new school. In the end, our simple walk became a tourist attraction of which people started using our procession as backdrops for their photos. Haha.

Anyway, the whole walk thing just made my feelings change towards the new campus. It made me visualize awfully exciting new days ahead. All the hustle and bustle during today's smuve and vivace, proved me wrong; that within this new office-like building, there would still be this vibrant school spirit alight. And independent of its environment, united SMU will stay.

Closing time

Today has simply been a blast.

All started off with Arvin dear and me volunteering our free time to becoming poor chair and water carriers at the new campus for tomorrow's event. At night, we headed back to our old campus for a 'closing time' event. EVERYONE was there... both oldies and freshies. It was a total happening experience!!! Met up with so many friends and the music was just blasting next to me but i didn't care one bit. It was awfully fun. Arvin and I went kinda mad, waving our hands in the air, but everyone else around us did.. so oh well. Electrico and EIC were all there, performing at the once very peaceful school library. I can't wait to get back to school already. I love all you SMU peeps out there! You just totally made my day today, and you guys will confirm make my school days very very fun in due time. I'll be looking forward to school again in 22 days time.

Goodbye to my very dear Bukit Timah Campus

Bye stephieeee

Yesterday, went over to steph's before she leaves for adelaide today. *sobz*. there she goes again... i'll miss our rumblings and evaluations. i'll miss our common love for island creamery(the find of the hols!!). simply, i'll miss you. Take care k?

Distance sure is a test for everything that did once seem of unimportance. Suddenly, you start to feel the weight of all the itsy-bitsy stuff that you used to take for granted. When it starts to sink in further, you start to show slight remorse of why you didn't treasure those times as much as you do now.
But somehow, i feel that all is not lost with distance being a major factor between two parties. Being apart from my dearie and close friends makes me a more contented person. With the little intangibles that i receive each time, sets me smiling and saying thanks for the relationship we hold.

On a lighter note, today i woke up early at 7 plus after a full-day hibernation yesterday. Then, i had my first proper driving experience. The first unofficial one was on Wed night.. just simply from the carpark to the guardhouse(which i believed my dad could easily cover over seconds), i took a horrid 5 minutes. So today, it was official!! i drove my brother to school! woooOOO. Plus 2 other daredevils in the car.. mama and papa. Brave souls. *clap clap*. Anyway, they were really encouraging, and kept telling me 'good job', though there were many overtaking cars:( such sweet people! I love my parents! Doesn't really go the same for Colin who looked and me and said.. "You are driving me to school?? I think i'll take the bus instead!"

Oh wells, fine fine.. I'll improve k??!

Insufficient Acceleration"

Hello!!!!

This is my first blog after much thought, outside complaints and choosing of a blog name from dictionary.com.

the history of this blog comes after i realise that it is quite difficult for my overseas girls and dear ian poops to know what's going on in my life. so i shall try my best, starting from now

Oh well, the day started off with me dragging myself off my bed for supposed breakfast with kevin before heading off for my driving test at 9am. But the awful stagnant jam in front of my house caused by this anonymous primary school made us reach ubi slightly later than usual. hence no prata or bee hoon for the both of us. i reached cdc an hour earlier before warm-up started at 9.10. the instructor was good and so was the tester, who was even better. i drove so slowly during the test but yet he didn't even nudge one bit. he's the man! haha. but in the end, i owed my many pts to insufficient acceleration. anway, this post and my very own driving licence goes out to some of the loveliest people in my life. you know who you guys are.

alright, this blog entry took me a horrendous 1hr. ands stephie's falling asleep in front of me. i think i took a bit too long. that's it for today:)
