Hold in there

To my girl YM,

Believe my dear... Believe in your mom. Believe in the treatment and medicine prescribed. Believe in the doctors. Believe in the Lord.

Stay strong my dear... For you know how much your mom needs you and your family's support. Your presence will mean so much to everyone. Simple hugs and kisses will tell their story.

Positive thoughts my dear... How about try extinguish your so frequent previous thought of 'what-ifs', and change them all to my mom will definitely get well? This incident will only be temporary. It will.

Smile my dear... Just like how you helped me relieve my blindness. Small reaction, but chain reaction. You may not need to say a word, but the patient will feel.

Ask my dear... Speak of any need or help. True friends will never leave you. Never. You showed me that, and I believe. I'll do the same to you, and I'm sure many others will. Open your eyes, and look around you dear. Many you have.

This phase will pass. And then we'll go have our picnics and tea.

Love you girl.

Happy 21st!

I held a mini birthday party a day before my actual birth date to my fav food, sushi delight! Just invited a few of my special SMU friends cos i wanted something really simple and cosy. Held it at Sakae Sushi, initially got the room but then they later gave it away to some other important people who booked the room after me. &*$%@$#(#) *cry. Was quite upset initially, but got everyone free green tea after my brilliant negotiation skills and many pouts, then became quite happy.

I'm so happy that almost everyone turned up.

The girls!

The boys!

To my dear parents, thank you for all these 21 years of overflowing love, patience and wonderful upbringing.

Daddy, thank you for tirelessly chaffeuring me around for my many tuitions (of which unfortunately brought little results:( ) i had during my secondary and jc days. Now that i can drive, I'll be the one taking over the wheel whenever you are tired! *hint hint. hehe.

Mommy, thank you for being THE girlie whom i could chat with all day about every small thing for the many past years. I still remember when i was in primary school and you scolded me over the phone "Eh you think i no need to work" because I was rattling on about what I ate and who I talked to during my recess time. But i think yr scolding doesn't work cos till now, i still find so much joy rattling non stop to you.

Without you two, I wouldn't be who I am today. Love you two!

To Shannon, it has been beautiful loving you. A guy like you just seemed like someone in my dreams and one that i could never be worthy of. You have been this really strong provider of support whenever i so often needed it. Thank you for bearing with my anger vents and unpredictable bursts, always stressing you out unnecessarily. I look forward to many many more years with you dearie! I promise to work hard towards cooking my first dish for you! I'll sign you up for cooking lessons, you always say...

Blue the mascot of the boy! And the first guest to turn up for the party. He's a heat warmer which i thought was too adorable to be sitting on the shelf. Blue is this furry star of which performs its function of emitting heat, sadly activated only through the microwave oven. As instructed, it states, heat on high for 75 seconds, and no oil! hehehe. So the sweet boy got it for me (okie i kinda demanded for it) and off it shall go with me to switzerland to keep me warm. i love my blue!

I'm 21 already!!! *cryyyyy

i say love exists

I want to love you till the end of time. With u by my side, I have no fear. No fear of being alone, no fear of being myself. No fear of being free. You the reason why I still smile when I’m weary, especially at stressful times like now. Thank you for everything.
I love you.

To my baby, you are the reason why i believe love exists.
